Happy Travel Guides
Travel has been central on my path to a blue sky mind. There is no better lesson in perspective than learning how people across the world live, be it lavishly or on the streets. Beyond that, solo travel has challenged and forced me to grow like no other experience in my life. It's often frustrating and anxiety-inducing, but I'm a more independent and self-assured person because of it.
Below are some of the more recent parts of the world I've been lucky enough to explore.
Amsterdam
In 2014, I studied abroad in Amsterdam for 4 months. 3 years later, it's still one of the happiest times in my life. I traveled all over Europe, too, visiting friends in England, France, Belgium, Spain, Prague, and Ireland.
Colombia
Colombia was my big trip of 2016. My mom and I spent two weeks traveling the country, staying in Bogota, Medellin, Santa Marta, Tayrona Park, and Santa Marta. I left absolutely in love with South America.
Bali
In 2017, I booked a spontaneous flight to Bali with my boyfriend one month before the trip and still managed to completely over-plan. In our ten days, we stayed in Seminyak, Ubud, Amed, Gili T, Padang Bai, and Uluwatu.
Cambodia
2018 was the year of Cambodia! Kevin & I traveled around the country for 10 days, visiting Phnom Penh, Siem Reap & the Koh Rong Islands. It was a pretty seamless trip, rich with culture, history, adventure & relaxation.
